This makes beating the Urizen boss fight at the end of the prologue much easier. Now that the player has gone ahead and beaten the game normally, they'll be able to go back to older Devil May Cry 5 missions with all of their upgrades. Unfortunately the player is still vastly underequipped for the job, so it's advisable to beat the game at least once and come back once they've buffed up a bit. The player will get another shot at Urizen later on, but to unlock the secret ending they'll have to beat him in the prologue. Dante stays behind to hold Urizen off while Nero and V flee with heroic cowardice. Once the player's health bar empties, the story progresses and both Nero and Dante are defeated. Luckily, this is a boss fight which the designers do not expect the player to win.
